With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rheba Mathis of Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on August 18, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Burch and Idonur Cowan Burch; her husband Doyle Mathis; her brothers, Ewen (Nina), Eidson and Virgil (Miriam); and her brother-in-law Wilbur.
She is survived by: her sister Retha Brown; her children, Douglas Mathis and Deborah Vergnolle (Nasser Srouji); and her grandchildren, John Vergnolle, Christie Bloodworth (Jacob) and Sallie Mathis. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
