He was predeceased by: his father William John Rankin. He is survived by: his mother Bernice Larimore Bennett; his wife Elaine Howell Rankin; his stepchildren, Rebecca Summerlin (Bobby), Rachel Hendricks and Richard Hendricks (Alex); his grandchildren, Jazmin (Zach), Christopher, Chassady, Camden, Brinley, Cooper, Carter, Curtis, Maggie, Perry, Aida, Desiree, Peyton and Elijah; his sisters, Vickie Powell, Penny Fowler (Tim) and Teresa Beckman (Rick); and his friend Rickey Borden. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
