She was predeceased by: her father Jasper Smiley; and her son Ellis Spencer. She is survived by: her mother Nettie Lee Smiley; her siblings, Farris, Archie, James, Hampton, Enoch, Dewitt Smiley, Mary Bruce and Ruby Stevens; her husband Clarence Spencer, Sr.; her sons, Clarence Spencer Jr., Rodney Spencer (Lola), Michael Spencer (Kathy) and Victor Spencer (Angela); and her sisters-in-law, Morean Morman, Edith Smiley, Ernestine Smiley and Claretha Bright. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Due to the current state of (COVID-19) pandemic and in order to promote social distancing, anyone entering the funeral home for viewing; as well as attending all graveside services must wear a mask.
