She was predeceased by: her mother Christine Gillespie. She is survived by: her father Rev. Hilton Gillespie; her husband Joseph Norton of Woodbine; her daughter Amanda Kehoe of Jacksonville; her siblings, Alta Ploeger (Bill) of Columbus, John Gillespie (Celeste) of Oklahoma, Wendy Mathis (Billy) of Leesburg, Jackie Brassell (Randal) of Nashville, Brenda Coleman (Roy) of Panama City and Dorothy "Dot" Ryan of Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Carissa Cofer, Sarah Waller, Morgan Bradanick, Hannah Isreal and Olivia Kehoe. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Old Chapel of the Kingsland First Baptist Church (295 E Chester St, Kingsland, GA 31548). A burial was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
