She was predeceased by: her mother Rosa Elizabeth Huggins McLeod; her husband James H. Osburn; her father Walter L. McLeod; her siblings, McKinley "Mack" McLeod and Rosa Louester Moore (Karl Eric Weis); and her granddaughter Sherry Franklin Pender-Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Walter James Osburn, Barbara Raye Franklin (Ron), Beverly Kay Weis (Karl), Betty Jean Bright (Chip) and Sue Ellen Dean (Leo); her brothers, Robert Lee McLeod, Ronald Phillip McLeod and Wendell Woodrow McLeod; and her siblings-in-law, Eugene "Gene" Osburn, Marie Frances Osburn and Mary Ruth Osburn. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests giving in Muriel's name to the charity of your choice, or to any no-kill animal shelter.
