Schafer; her husband James Allen Metzler of Brunswick, Georgia; her children, Elizabeth "Libby" Schafer Snelling (David) of Aurora, Charles Joseph Schafer of Indianapolis, Indiana, Richard M. Schafer, Jr. (Tammy) of Dupont, Indiana, Jeffrey D. Schafer (Donna) of Madison, Indiana, Laurel "Laurie" Schafer Livorno (Ron) of East Milton and Julia Schafer Flowers (Brent Lewellyn) of Madison, Indiana; her stepdaughter Tricia Metzler Poultney (Donnie) of Jacksonville, Florida; and her grandchildren, Sarah (Tony), Rebecca, Michael, Shannon (Randa), Josh (Holly), Ashley (Dusty), Mason, Isabel, Amanda (Matt), Ryan (Kelsy), Kody, Daphne, Leslie (Chase), Kelsey, Danielle, Corrina (Darren), Chad (Emily), Chris (Leslie), Samantha, Vance A., Madalyn, Jordan, Damien, Alex and Leilani. She is also survived by one great great granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
