It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Landon Franklin Thrower of Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Thrower and Frankie Thrower. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Thrower; and his siblings, Raymond Swinson and Mary Redell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I started working for the USPS in 2008. I was trained by Landon and I thank God for it. I couldn't have had a better teacher. When he and Margaret went on vacations, I would run his route on SSI. He made sure I took care of all his furry friends. There was an older dog on his route that didn't get around very well, so, just as he did, I'd stop the mail truck, get out, and slide her milk bone under the garage door. He was a sweet and caring man who loved his wife deeply. He will be missed by many”
