She was predeceased by: her parents, Bemon Mitchell and Aline Mitchell; her former husband Robert Zack Fenn; her husband Charles Larry Rykard; and her siblings, Helen Strickland, Walker, Floyd and Richard Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Lord (Joel) of Statesboro, Zack Fenn, Jr. of Waynesville, Joseph Fenn of Long Island, NY and Mitchell Rykard (Tommie) of Midway; her grandchildren, Joel Lord, Jr. (Tamara) of Sanford, NC, Kelli Lord of Statesboro, Caroline Rykard of Midway and Caitlyn Rykard of Midway; her great grandchildren, C. J. Oglesby and Fenn Altman; and her sisters-in-law, Harriet Walker (George) of Brunswick and Carol Mitchell of Columbus, GA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
