He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Franklin and Dortha Franklin; his grandparents, John and Bessie Franklin; his brother-in-law Bob Phelps; and his niece Tammy Franklin.
He is survived by: his daughter Nettie Franklin Alexander; his son-in-law Walter; his grandchildren, Eli and Eliza; his brother Rex; his sister-in-law Janet Franklin of Syracuse, NY; his siblings, Cindy Phelps of Albuquerque, NM and Ben; his sister-in-law Linda Franklin of Flora Vista, NM; his nieces and nephews, Kim DeRuby (Jerry), Tobe Phelps (Leanne), Tyne Phelps, Selena Hughes, Tara Hacsi, Krystle Antonelli (Ryan), Larkin Trosper-Phelps and Courtney Phelps-Poole (Cooper); and also, Ginny Darling and Daisy.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like any donations in his memory be given to Hospice of the Golden Isles, Netherwood Church of Christ (Albuquerque), or a charity of their choice.
