It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Nuebel of Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Joseph Nuebel and Mary Loretta Cobb Nuebel; and his sister Colleen Mari Wiley. He is survived by: his wife Rena Nuebel of Brunswick; his stepchildren, Michael Lemmond (Adrienne Purvis) of Brunswick and Nancy Shawn Smith of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Charlee Rena Smith, Kobe Fuller and Nova Grace Lemmond; his brothers, Mick Nuebel of Florida, Paul Nuebel of Florida and Jim Nuebel (Esther) of Florida; and his nephews, Sammy Nuebel and Eli Nuebel.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Frye Funeral Home (136 Satilla Ave, Nahunta, GA 31553). Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
