It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Hansel Blanton of Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kim Blanton and Julia Blanton; and his brother Don Blanton. He is survived by: his sister Sheryl Prendergast (Bill); his nieces, Shannon Sellers and Brittany Warrick (Jake); his nephew Delton Gay; and his aunt Laverne Blanton. He is also survived by several great nephews, nieces, and cousins.
