She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Henry and Julie Henderson Thomas; her husband Jackie Aspinwall; her siblings, Ethel Passmore, Sadie Taylor, Susie Cason, William, John, David, Daniel, Bill and Pete Thomas; her grandpups, Sally, Boomer and Dottie; and her pet Cocoa.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Aspinwall (Lori) of Brunswick, GA and Tammy Shanklin (Carl) of Gardi, GA; her sister Laura Ellis Walker of Pierce County, GA; her grandchildren, Caitlin Kilpatrick (William) of Searsport, ME, David Aspinwall (Anjelica) of Brunswick, GA, Tessa Shanklin (C. J. Cowley) of Springfield, GA and Taylor Leipheimer (Matthew) of Beaufort, SC; and her grandpups, Mollie and Basil. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Screven (302 School St, Screven, GA 31560).
