With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Carolyn Strickland of Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on November 30, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Sapp, Sr. and Irma Lynn Lloyd; and her brothers, Ernest Sapp, Jr. and Leonard Sapp. She is survived by: her husband Robert Elliot Strickland of Brunswick; her children, Erica Groover of Darien and Elliot Fulton "Monty" Groover IV of Savannah; her grandchildren, Brigid Bishop-Miller (Tony) and McKenzie Galbreath (Josh); her great grandchild Collyns Galbreath; her siblings, David Sapp, Ronnie Sapp (Patricia), Patricia Moore (Darnell) and Regina Mabry (Tommy); and her stepchildren, Karen Joiner (Spencer), Christa Strickland and Mitch Strickland (Terri). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
