He was predeceased by: his father Willie James Reed; his brother William Ardis Colton; and his grandparents, James and Kitty Clayton. He is survived by: his mother Carrie Reed; his siblings, Patricia Adams, Pamela Evans, Felecia Wheeler, Janette Reed, Dwala Aiken (Rufus), Regina Jackson (Michael) and Gregory Reed; and his niece Kaie Avery Cross. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
