He was predeceased by: his daughter Teresa Michelle "Bear" Carswell. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Carswell; his children, Missy Loper (Billy) of Waverly, David Carswell (Michele) of White Oak, Valerie Barbine (Joseph) of Brunswick and Christina Cramer (Mike) of Fort Knox, KY; and his siblings, Mike Carswell (Janet) of Morriston, Diane Cook (Cary) of Austin, TX and Frances Harris (Vernon) of Brunswick. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends.
