It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Errol Johnson of Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Johnson and Sallie Johnson; his brothers, Cecil, Russell, Jackie and William; his son-in-law Matt Brooks; and his grandson Billy Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Ada Johnson; and his children, James Johnson, Rhonda Brooks, Wayne Johnson and Teresa Cauley. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home (4407 Hwy 17, Brunswick, GA 31525). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
