It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn McLeod McDowell of Brunswick, Georgia, born in Chester, Georgia, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Franklin McLeod and Annabell Darsey McLeod; and her husband Linward Edward McDowell. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Lann of Milledgeville and Carol Stalvey (Ray) of Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
