She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel "Sammy" Leffler Hope; her parents, Manning Booth and Florence Galbreath Booth; and her children, Gregory Hope and Sandra Hope Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Hope Strickland (Robert) of Waverly; her grandchildren, Joshua Strickland of Waverly and Hope Herndon of Brunswick; her great grandchildren, Natalie Strickland, Cason Herndon and Carter Herndon; and her sister Sara Hitchcock of Vidalia. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia, Mrs. Betty Jean Booth Hope, 87, of Brunswick, Georgia, left this earthly realm to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the morning of Thursday, February 23, 2023.
