With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Louise Mitchell of Brooks, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 27, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Whitten and Mable Whitten; her brothers, Alfred Whitten and Larry Whitten; and her grandson Dusty Lee Bunn.

She is survived by: her husband Billy Mitchell; her daughters, Jeannie Bunn (Donald) and Julie Mitchell; her grandson D. J. Bunn (Amanda); and her siblings, Martha Skinner (Thomas) and Gene Whitten (Bonnie). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
