He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ethridge and Lucille Ethridge; and his sisters, Barbara Martin and Donna Widby. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ethridge of Brooks; his children, Yvonne Watson of Bogart and William Stanley Ethridge, Jr. of Buford; his nephew Ricky Martin of Social Circle; and also, Billy Watson of Bogart and Gail Martin of Social Circle.
