With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josie V. Goddard of Brooks, Georgia, who passed away on May 25, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Varnadoe, Sr. and Naomi Allen Varnadoe; and her husband A. N. Goddard (Buddy). She is survived by: her son Bruce; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Goddard; her grandson Paul Riley Goddard; and her siblings, Carrie Butler and Jeff Varnadoe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I remember Josie very well. I'm sad to hear this news. She just popped into my head and I looked her up to find that she passed away not even a month ago. She was our neighbor, friend and of course hairdresser when I was a kid and lived next door to her on Hollonville Rd. She was always so kind and sweet. She was funny too. She could make anyone crack a smile or just laugh out loud!! I wish I had known. I would have been there!! Karen Marken Napoletano”
