He is survived by: his children, Franklin "Reggie" Caldwell and Dinah Faye Payne; his grandchildren, Koty Caldwell, Dylan Caldwell, Savannah Caldwell, Drake Caldwell, Matt Payne and Mitch Payne; and his sister Joyce Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
