He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bozeman Ellis and Bruce Garland Russell Sr.; and his sister Mary Gene Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Suzy Russell; his daughters, Dana Mifsud (Patrick) and Stephanie Peck (Jason); and his grandchildren, Hollis and Samantha.
