He is survived by: his sons, Jason Gilmer (Angela) and Shane Gilmer (Emily); his grandsons, Dawson Gilmer and Grayson Gilmer; his sister Delphine "Del" Boyd (Brenda Justice); and his sister-in-law Vickie Tarleton (Roger). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
