She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Banks and Lula Arnold Banks; her husband Robert Garner; and her sons, Ralph, Raymond, Rufus and Roland.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca L. McGraw (Glenn), Richard Garner (Janice) and Ronnie Garner (Sheila Byrd); and her sister Pauline Sturgill. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
