He was predeceased by: his father Willie Earnest Myers, Sr.; and his grandparents, Otis, Ruby Williams, Ernest and Estelle Myers.
He is survived by: his children, Sara Lynn Myers of Brooklet and Dylan L. Myers of Brooklet; his mother Margie Lewis; his stepfather Leland Lewis of Brooklet; his sister Donna Marie Myers of Brooklet; his nephew Robert Pierce of Statesboro; and his niece Candace Pierce of Statesboro. He is also survived by three great nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.
The Savannah, Georgia native was born on Flag Day and that gave him the foundation of being a truly patriotic American.
