With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara McGlaun Kelly (Brooklet, Georgia), born in Salem, Alabama, who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Evan McGlaun and Bama Francis Akins McGlaun; her former husband John Lane Kelly; and her sons, Dr. James Haynes Kelly and William David Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly McGlaun Fields of Athens, GA and John Lawrence Kelly of Mathews, NC; her daughters-in-law, Jane Hill Kelly of Baltimore, MD and Rebecca Robertson Kelly of Brooklet, GA; and her spouse Episcopal. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
