She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Crosby, Sr. and Mary Helmey; her husband John Marion Clemmons, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Melissa Wilson and Lyle Clemmons.

She is survived by: her children, Shelia Burkhart (Randy), John Clemmons, Jr. and Paul Clemmons; her grandchildren, Sherri Ruarks of John Clemmons, III, Sarah Burkhart and James Burkhart (Mary); and her siblings, Joyce Smith, Vaughn Williams, Wayne Crosby, Jane Moore and Reba Bishop. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
