She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Barnwell and Nora Bernice Barnwell of Brooklet; her brothers, Benjamin Paul Barnwell (Alabama) and James Wilbert Barnwell (Statesboro); and her great grandchild Natalee Ouimette.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Mincey; her daughters, Debbie Kennedy (Jimmy) of Statesboro, Charlene Robbins (Ray) of Statesboro and Sandy McElveen of Richmond Hill; her grandchildren, Greg Kennedy (Emily), Gena Manning (Gabe), Candi Partridge (John), Nichole Gay (Bradley), Joni Marzofka (Tyler), Katie Ouimette (John) and Bobby Robbins (Ginger); and her sister Jeanette Perkins of Statesboro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to either Georgia Hospice Care, 100 Southwest Main Street, Vidalia, Georgia 30474 or to Bible Baptist Church, 889 GA Hwy. 24, Statesboro, GA 30461.
