He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Dale McCormick and Mary Lea "Mickie" McCormick McKie; his parents-in-law, Inman and Shirley Hood; and his niece Hallie Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Anne Hood McCormick; his children, Scott McCormick (Tammy), Brandon McCormick (Amber) and Lean McCormick Gaskin (Chris); his grandchildren, Hunter McCormick, Allison Lanier (John), Autumn McCormick, Hope McCormick, Bobby McCormick, Casen Gaskin, Emilia Gaskin and Ryleigh Kate Gaskin; his great grandchild Araylie Lanier; his stepfather Charles McKie; his sister Dale McCormick Williams (Doug); and his sister-in-law Susan Reynolds (Scott). He is also survived by canine companion "Oreo"; and several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
