With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janie Wilson Pope of Brooklet, Georgia, who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Wilson and Carrie Calahan Wilson; her husband James Allen Pope, Sr.; her children, Linda Jenkins, Brenda Kay Wiggins and James Allen Pope, Jr.; her grandson Michael Helmley; and her brother Jeff Wilson.

She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Whaley, Clarence Wilson and Tommy Wilson; her sister-in-law Faye Wilson; and her son-in-law Thomas Wiggins. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
