He was predeceased by: his wife Billie Jean Graham Friar; and his parents, Charles Friar and Verna L. Friar. He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Friar of Brooklet, GA and Dale Friar (Debbie) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and his brothers, Jerry Friar of St. Louis, MO, Ernie Friar (Jean) of Irons, MI and Arthur Friar of Naples, FL. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
