He was predeceased by: his father James Harmon Morris; and his grandparents, Gary, Annie Ruth Jordan, Harmon and Ida Morris.

He is survived by: his wife Patty Roberts Morris of Brooklet; his son Matt; his daughter-in-law Valerie Morris of Statesboro; his mother Shirley Jordan Morris of Brooklet; and his grandchildren, Kate and Lindsay Morris of Statesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
