With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elbert Dent Newton of Brooklet, Georgia, who passed away on June 4, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barnett Joshua Newton and Pearl Collins Newton; and his siblings, Doy Newton, Hubert Newton and Rita Chester.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Denmark Newton of Brooklet; his daughters, Nancy Newton Thomas (Lindsay) of Screven, GA and Becky Newton Miller (Mike) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandsons, Matthew Legette Miller of Jacksonville and Louis Denton Miller of Jacksonville; his stepchildren, Gary Denmark (Laurie), Vicki Marks (Ladd), Sue Strickland (Terry) and Lynn Soliday (Mark); and his stepgrandchildren, Daniel Denmark (Mindy), Hannah Nevil (James), Sinclair Marks and Sydney Marks.
