It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Lamar Wynn Sr. (Brooklet, Georgia), who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Jackson Wynn Sr.; and his wife Mary Dean Rushing. He is survived by: his children, Christy Lynn Hopp (Mike) and Edwin Wynn, Jr. (Terri); his brother-in-law Franklin Durrell Rushing (Wylene); his grandchildren, Michael Hopp (Jessica), Jake Wynn (Jennifer), Erin Starling (Jamie), Leah Beaudry (Tony), David Hopp (Grayson) and Amy Long (David); and his sister-in-law Rean Rushing. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro Georgia 30459 or The Lodge at Bethany, 77 Bethany Way, Statesboro, Georgia 30458.
