He was predeceased by : his father Bennie Melton Conner; and his sister Iris Meek. He is survived by : his mother Anne Smith Conner; his sons, Cole Conner and Jake Conner; and his siblings, Nancy Davis and Charles Conner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
