He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Cannady; his parents, Ernest D. Cannady and Melba R. Cannady; his sister Virginia Hodges; and his grandson Forrest Cannady.
He is survived by: his children, William Cannady (Terry) of Moncks Corner, S. C., Tommy Cannady (Delores) of Guyton, Richard Cannady, Sr. (Stacie) of Brooklet and Brenda Bowler (Larry) of Brooklet; and his siblings, James Cannady of Brooklet and Donna Aldrich (Pete) of Brooklet. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
