She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Winton and Sara Ila Upchurch of Stilson, GA.; her husband Guthrie "Buddy" Parker Meade; her son Sandy Meade, Jr.; and her siblings, Sara Helen Martin, Virginia Brown and J. W. Upchurch.

She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Upchurch and Calvin Upchurch; her daughters, Vicki Lynn Fine (Sonny) of Apopka, FL and Mary "Tina" Butler (Brad) of Townsend, GA; her grandsons, Alec Meade (Fine), James Butler (Callie) and Corey Butler; and her great grandchild Lillie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
