It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl S. Saxton of Brooklet, Georgia, born in Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on April 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammy Saxton and Pearl Buchan Saxton; and his sisters, Louise, Prescilla and Sandra.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Marie Saxton; his children, Sonia Whitworth (Erik), Sheila Saxton (Corey), Carl "Buddy" Saxton (Kelly), Stephen Saxton (Marianne) and Brian Saxton (Frances); his grandchildren, Brandon Barnes (Andrea), Shannon Barnes, Cory Saxton, Anna Saxton, Madilyn Saxton, Ava Saxton, Claire Saxton, Adler Saxton, Thomas Saxton and Luke Jesse Saxton; his great grandchildren, Aidan Barnes and Mason Barnes; and his sister Carolyn Stevens (Billy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
