With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Lofton of Bronwood, Georgia, born in Cuthbert, Georgia, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wesley Lofton and Eva Mae Miller Lofton; his former wife Evelyn Lofton; his wife Kitty Bass Lofton; his siblings, Elizabeth Pollock, Lillie Lommel, Sid Lofton and Wiley Lofton; his stepdaughter Julie McKendree; and his stepgrandson Tim Aycock.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kitty DuVall, Patsy Waters, Nita Aycock, Bill Hammack and Veronica Humphery; his brother William Lofton; his stepgrandchildren, Bo Stuckey (Sharon), Patty Darley (David), Daniel Waters, Keith Aycock, Lisa Hammack and Chris Hammack; and his niece Jessica Anderson. He is also survived by daughter and numerous great grandchildren.
