Thurmon of Bristol; his sons, William Henry "Billy" Thurmon, III (Tara) of Savannah and Keith E. Thurmon (Stephanie) of Jesup; his siblings, Katie Thurmon of Jesup, Esther Thurmon of Miami Beach, FL, Helen Johnson of Abilene, TX, Patti Guthrie (Jim) of Puyallup, WA, Joanie Greenlees, Julie Chambers (Jim) of Statesboro, Mike Thurmon (Diana) of Atlanta, George Thurmon (Mary) of Savannah and Mark Thurmon of Harlem; his grandchildren, Hunter, Laynee, Ethan, Kate Thurmon and McKenzie Bennett; and his mother-in-law Audrey Eastland of Bristol. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
