With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Ann Thornton of Bristol, Georgia, who passed away on May 23, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Roddenberry and Ida Davis Roddenberry; her husband Willie Nolan "Bill" Thornton; her son Mickey Thornton; her grandson-in-law Jason Jordan; and her siblings, Christine Roddenberry, Betra Bryant, Nina Bennett and George Roddenberry, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Lana Aldridge (DeWayne) of Blackshear, Rosalind Inman (Paul) of Blackshear and Kelly Thornton (Margo) of Waycross; her daughter-in-law Mandy Thornton of Bristol; her grandchildren, Misty Perkins (Jamey), Mickey Thornton (Cassie), Mary Ann Jordan, Liz Yarbrough (Jason), Matthew Aldridge (Taylor), Shane Rountree (Rachel), Zac Thornton, Chris Inman, Logan Inman, Brad Inman, Holly Bagley, Skylar Dixon and Carter Dixon; her great grandchildren, Dalton Purvis, Garrett Thornton, Dillon Perkins, Alli Perkins, Averie Thornton, Hunter Yarbrough, Ty Yarbrough, Savanna Jordan, Hanna Jordan and Kase Aldridge; and her great great grandchild Elijah Thornton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
