He was predeceased by: his father Richard Leon Peeples, Sr.; his uncle Robert Murray; and his nephew Christopher Leon Hammond. He is survived by: his children, Briggett Bandy of Tennessee, Brittany Manning of Jesup and Elbert Wellington "Bubba" Peeples, Jr. of Bristol; his mother Edna Kennedy of Bristol; and his siblings, Shirley Newton of Texas, Patricia Marvel of Bristol, Richard Peeples, Jr. of Bristol, Robert Peeples of Lando Lakes, FL, Rocky Peeples of Bristol, Ronnie Peeples of Bristol, Charles Peeples of Jesup and David Peeples of Blackshear.
