He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Ivan Griffey, Sr. and Ruby Brown Griffey. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Griffey of Bristol; his sons, David Griffey of Wrightsville, Craig Griffey of Fort Myers, Florida and Gary Griffey of Fort Myers, Florida; his stepchildren, Paul Herrington of Lantana and Annette Bounight of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and his sisters, Marion Durrance of Florida and Penny Cunningham of Indiana.
