It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Carter Sr. of Bristol, Georgia, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kenneth Carter and Betty Darciel White Sapp; and his brothers, Larry Carter and Randy Carter. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Norman Carter of Bristol; his son Charles S.; his daughter-in-law Amy Carter, Jr. of Bristol; and his siblings, Tanya Allen (Quincy) of Offerman, Garnetta Carter of Screven, Susan Evors, Roger Carter of Hoboken, Wallace Carter of Blackshear and Joseph Atkinson of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
