We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2019, at the age of 97, Maggie Horn Powell (Brinson, Georgia), born in Donalsonville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isaac Kenneth Horn and Emla Adeline Johnson Horn; her children, Rex L. "Buck" Powell (Sue) of Vada, GA, David Powell (Margie McClelland) of Brinson, GA and Pam Powell Johnson of Donalsonville, GA; her grandchildren, Jeff, Kim Powell, Susan, Hugh Lanier, Anna, Miles Henry, Rex, Amy Powell, Dave, Nancy Powell, Todd, April Powell, Duke, Amy Harrison, Jeri, Clay Booker, Gerald and Sharon Harrison; her husband Gerald Lamar Powell; and her son William J. "Bill" Powell. She was also cherished by her seventeen great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
