He is survived by: his wife Joan Carter; his children, Joseph William Carter of South Carolina, Kimberly and Jimmy Miller of Donalsonville, GA; his brother Gary Carter of Ft. Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Amanda, Kenneth, Emily, Rebecca, Christian and Drew; and his great grandchildren, Calvin, Hudson and Harper.
