He is survived by: his friend Sandra Shaffer; his children, Bruce Shaffer of Eaton, OH, Angie Downey (Jerry) of Greenville, OH and Cindy Freeman (Henry) of Brinson, GA; his grandchildren, Bryon, Jodie, Casey, Katelyn, Chelsey and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Elleigh, Brody, Kaden, Caleigh, Alexis and Kyle; and his friend Ila Reed.
