Violet Jones Newman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2025, at the age of 96, Violet Jones Newman (Bremen, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband G. Ray Newman; her son Joe Lann Newman; and her great grandchild Nicolette Martie. She is survived by: her children, Gary Ray Newman and Lisa Martie (Richard); her grandchildren, Matthew Newman (Mary Beth), Phillip Martie (Jude), Lee Martie (Shelly) and Ben Martie (Meghan); and her great grandchildren, Bexley Martie, Ian Martie, Jack Martie and Graham Martie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hightower Funeral Home (318 Gordon St, Bremen, GA 30110). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (946 Waddell St, Bremen, GA 30110).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mrs. Newman's honor to The Watch Tower Society.
