She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Carden and Betty Carden; and her in-laws, A. B. and Hertha Gillespie. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Gillespie; her sons, Clint Gillespie (Lisa) and Bart Gillespie (Lorrie); her grandchildren, Emily and William Gillespie; and her brother Wayne Carden.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (50 Hamric Dr E, Oxford, AL 36203).
